Getting started with Sugesta on Shopify.

A practical checklist for installing the app, syncing catalog data, and verifying the storefront widget.

Setup checklist

  1. Open Sugesta from Shopify Admin and complete the Shopify-authenticated app entry flow.
  2. Approve the requested Shopify scopes so Sugesta can read products and operate the app proxy runtime.
  3. Confirm the Sugesta dashboard shows the detected Shopify shop and connected store.
  4. Run catalog sync so product titles, variants, images, prices, and availability are available for assistant answers.
  5. Enable the Sugesta app embed in the Shopify theme and verify the storefront widget opens.
  6. Send a test shopper question, check product recommendations, and verify add-to-cart or support actions where available.
  7. Review Shopify Billing status in Sugesta before enabling paid access for the store.

Production requirements

  • Shopify app URL points to the Sugesta Shopify entry route.
  • OAuth callback and app proxy URLs point to the production Sugesta API.
  • Shopify Billing is used for Shopify-origin paid access.
  • The Privacy Policy remains available at a stable public URL.
